Description of Services

See "Costs and Payment Terms" for additional information.

Stretching

I use active isolated stretching (AIS), developed by Aaron Mattes (see stretchingusa.com). With AIS, I isolate the muscle that’s being stretched, while the opposite muscle is activated, resulting in increased range of motion and strength. The movement is repeated every 1-2 seconds for 8-10 repetitions.

Speed & Agility Training

I’ll show you many different drills that will help improve your reaction time and footwork. Flexibility and stretching is a major component to speed training.

Weight/Strength Training

One-on-one training. Muscle isolation or total body strengthening for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and/or muscle development.

Virtual Training

You will receive one-on-one training by way of Zoom or FaceTime. You set up your camera, do your movements, and I will instruct you and provide feedback in real time.

Virtual Stretching Class

Group classes conducted via Zoom. I’ll teach individual/isolated joint and muscle movements and stretches. This is a learn-by-doing class where I will be instructing very basic movements for you to follow. These movements would be appropriate for older people and/or those with physical limitations, like myself. (Advanced movement is optional.) However all levels are welcome to participate.
Classes will be 30 minutes in length and will focus on 1-3 joints or muscles per session. A syllabus of sessions is as follows:
Session #1: neck
#2 arm/shoulder
#3 elbow/wrist/fingers
#4 seated back
#5 flat back
#6 back/hamstring
#7 stomach/back
#8 side quad
#9 knee/hip
#10 calf/ankle/toes
After the 10 stretching sessions are complete, I will cover the same muscle/joint movements with 30-minute strength sessions.

Video Analysis

Send me a short video of your movements. I will study and provide feedback in print, by phone, or in a Zoom meeting.

Online Consultation

Based on my extensive coaching experience, I can provide advice and/or recommendations on a wide variety of topics related to collegiate athletics. This may include advice regarding physical movements, or topics related to the collegiate experience such as NCAA rules, NIL, transfer portal, questions to ask on college visits, team expectations, athletic scholarships, walk on requirements, etc.

Ballroom Dance Instruction

I teach "urban ballroom" dancing which is a popular partner dance that originated in Detroit and can be seen at parties of all types. Typically people who are getting married may want to learn it for their "first dance." I also teach many of the popular line dances too. I will be joined in instruction by my wife to present the partner perspective.

Motivational Speaking

I am available to speak at your school, institution, or company about a wide array of topics. Examples include: being a team player, working together, inspiring others, setting goals and accomplishing them, meeting deadlines. Or I can be as specific and as personal as you wish.

NOTE: All in-person services can be conducted at the CoachUFit22 studio, at your home, or at a neutral site.
