James Henry has been working with Bob Spaly for years. The relationship dates back to 1994 when Realtor Spaly sold the Henry family their Ann Arbor home. Their paths wouldn't cross again until 2011 on the track at the University of Michigan where Henry spotted Spaly using a walker. What started as a chance encounter would go on to become known locally as "The Michigan Miracle" as Henry went on to help Spaly eventually recover his ability to walk, then run, then ultimately dance, using Active Isolated Stretching.
Sadly, in 2017, the spinal tumor that Spaly was battling returned, but the two gentlemen continue to work together three times a week, ensuring that his other muscles stay active and moving.
"James gave me 7 years of my life back," Spaly says.

Other Testimonials
"I saw Coach Henry for a single 1 hour session to help with foot pain due to a bunion. Prior to seeing Coach Henry I could not walk on my right foot without pain. After just 1 week of following the stretch routine I was able to walk barefoot pain-free for over an hour, and I am continuing to see constant improvement. He taught me a lot in 1 hour and also made it fun. Thank you, Coach Henry!"

"My daughter loved you and I was really happy about that. She thinks you are super nice and likes that you explained things to her. She learned a lot as far as stretching and even more about what it takes to be successful, 'eligibility' and some of what you endured. She's been stretching sometimes without reminders and is looking forward to getting back."
